If you guys read the article (or even skimmed) you would notice that all of the commentators have said that. They said that he has the genetic potential/structure to be a serious threat and win, but he needs to figure out how to display his gift to the best ability. Which I agree with, personally.

Cedric has better genetics no doubt.
He has a better frame (way wider clavicles/waist probably just as narrow) and his muscle bellies are close enough to Heath's as far as roundness goes that he could beat him if he got bigger.
Alas it's all about mass and being blownup with striated glutes, so I don't think he'll be beating Heath anytime soon.

Good article. But like everyone else has mentioned it's all about achieving the potential. Cedrics got undeniable genetics and an amazing structure, but Phil has proven he's number one, by doing what he can to maximize and take advantage of his amazing genetics. I'm just hoping Cedric can one day do the same and bring it in altogether so we can see what a full blown 100% Ced can look like.
Does anybody else think his career in the military affects his prep? He's a career military man, and it's obvious he loves his sense of duties and I think it's pretty admirable. Especially if you think that he can probably make a career in the IFBB full time in terms of income and revenues better than most others that aren't quite at the level he is at. What would Ced look like if he could focus on it the way Heath, Kai, Jay did without having to report in on a daily work schedule.

Great scans. Cedric has all of the tools, but I really don't see him being a threat to Phil until he gets dry as hell which he hasn't even come close to doing.

Cedric looks good but not great to me. His clavicles are not exceptionally wide, he doesnt have brute arms, hammies lack somewhat. What aids him is his short torso which helps his bdb pose which is exceptional for a tall guy. Structurally he is better than Heath, but there is something off abt Cedric. He is not a Dillett prototype, Dillett was freaky in the upperbody and had freaky calves with awesome athletic shaped legs. Cedric has abysmal calves and jsut not wide enough for me. Phil is in no trouble when compared to Cedric.

Looking at pics of bodybuilders who don't have good conditioning will always make them look bad. That's the only thing i personally see that looks off. It's been a while since he was really on and even then he wasn't dry.
Other than that i think he tends to look slightly awkward in the FDB. He hits it in a really "classic way", but it doesn't look right.lófasz
