Shinsekai update on episode 21 now
Last update was on episode 11 where I had a total mind **** and couldn't even think properly. Took a break, had a shower, walked to pick up coffee from the local Tim Hortons. Got back and marathoned like crazy. Episode 12 was insane, but after it got slow for a bit. 13-16/17 calmed down a lot while still being interesting. Then the last 3 episodes were FUKED. Seriously what the fuk. Did not see this coming at all, I had a totally different idea on how this was going to play out. However the mindfuking has toned down a lot, but has gotten a lot darker. Going to finish this series tonight. Honestly don't think I've finished a 20+ episode series so fast.

So I finally got into the hummingbird beta (alternative to MAL). Thankfully you can just import your MAL list so I didn't have to go through that process again.

The basic layout is much prettier than MAL and I like how you can choose to switch between a number scale and a smiley/sad face system for rating shows. I definitely prefer the latter, as I think number ratings are stupid.

There are a lot of features yet to be implemented so there isn't really much you can do atm, but here's an idea of what the profile page might look like:
