By doing this, you completely ignore the precedents set by this administration AND the previous administration in what appears to be a targeted attack on basic civil liberties of the citizens of USA. These precedents not only seem to follow a pattern in which it strips the average citizen of his rights and protection from gov't abuse, and places more power directly in the hands of the gov't when it comes to restraining & keeping an eye on them in order to protect the interests of "national security". The idea of martial law comes not from some blowhard named Alex Jones, but that the US is (or those in charge rather) intentionally hellbent on climbing this very slippery slope that conveniently leaves the citizen powerless against a much larger force with a near infinite pool of resources. i believe it is impossible to not even see the slightest hint of this that warrants question, which makes me question if you are either delusional or a very elaborate troll with a near infinite amount of time on his hands.

Exactly what I keep saying. Sure, he might see some personal gain because of his over-the-top sensationalism, but I think he actually undermines the liberty / limited govt movement when he rants and raves like a lunatic. I think you influence and persuade more people when you can calmly and eloquently convey the virtues of liberty over big government (examples: Tom Woods, Stefan Molyneux, Ron Paul, Peter Schiff, Judge Napolitano, etc...). Constantly being in conspiracy mode doesn't help his cause any. I don't doubt that conspiracies exist, but to assume 100% of the time that something is a conspiracy eventually turns you into a mockery. Government is always going to try to exploit a crisis to give themselves more power, that doesn't mean that they are always the ones who perpetrated the act though.
