I saw a news report on Guantanamo bay with a BBC reporter, over the recent inmates on hunger strike, he went in there and literally scoffed at the guards, made them out to be nazis and when he was shown the restraint cuffs on the nice sofas in their cells he was trying to force the guard to say 'shackles' instead of humane restraints, and very nearly admitted on camera that all the convicted dangerous terrorists and enemy troops inside should be released, and have no justification fr this train of thought. Not to get off track from the topic at hand, but are you mentally retarded? The whole damn point of the hunger strike is that the people inside aren't dangerous terrorists or enemy troops. They've been in there for 10+ years with no trial, and they've all been found to pose no threat to the US.

It is because the vast majority of conspiracy theories are complete horsesh*t and as such are very difficult to explain rationally. Also I would argue that the nature of conspiracy theories and the whole conspiracy theory community attracts people who have been or feel rejected by society and often have poor social skills, which leads them to struggle in articulating their already dubious theories.
