I know everyone on these forums is so high on his classical lines and shape, but to be honest, he to me he always lacked that pop to his muscles that a Mr. O would need to have. Not to say that Ced can't do well for a few more years competing, but in terms of being as dominant as everyone thought and him being 37, I really doubt it is gonna happen now.
If it does happen, it will be a HUGE turn around after his last show, but I wouldn't mind getting proven wrong. He seems like a great guy, but being that old and not having improved significantly in the last year, I really don't see him doing better. Kai on the other hand is the same age, but keep improving and looking more and more beastly by the day.
In my mind, he needs to both add size and get in better shape to contend with the top guys. And honestly I just don't see him doing that.

Is Cedric finished?

Bodybuilding longevity is a lot different than other sports, ESPECIALLY if you haven't been competing since your 20s, there's a difference between being a seasoned 37 year old and a fresh one.
He's won 3 pro shows, arguably could've been top 3 at the AC and has all the potential in the world.
He IS NOT DONE.

he had a couple bad showings, doesn't mean he is finished. He just needs to take another look and another route with his plan.
From what I hear from people the know Cedric, they say he just has no heart. Almost like he is just riding on genetics. Not saying that he doesn't work hard, but this is from people that know him.
Hopefully he can get the perfect plan together, give it his all and show us the true potential he hasType 1 Diabetic - Since age 15

just because he hasn't perfected his conditioning yet doesn't mean he's done.

lol he's not 'done', thats ridiculous...he's had one bad show, it happens. I dont think he'll ever be dominant though, he'll have a good career but he's not going to be what everyones hyped him to be...people forget that genetics don't just stop at someones size or their structure....he just genetically has thick skin...even when he won the NY pro he wasn't hard, he just got in good enough shape.

I never meant to imply he was gonna just disappear. But the guy was built up here as someone who is going to be a multiple time Mr. O and I have to say I do not see that kind of a physique on Ced. Great physique, do not get me wrong, but standing next to Kai, Phil, Jay and others I don't think he will look even closely as impressive.
And like I said before, I haven't seen the progress in him I have seen in others who have climbed to the top. At this point, it seems like he is stagnating.

Honestly I think - and he's basically admitted it himself - that's he's worn out already this year. He won't do much at the O, in my opinion.
As soon as he qualifies next year, he needs to shut it down and focus on the Olympia. However, this experience both good and bad, will help him with his conditioning next year. I can only imagine how good he'd be if he had someone like Farah on his side

Yep, this truly is a 'meh' physique that's 'done'.
God some people need to stop smoking crack.''There’s this battle over waterboarding at places like Guantanamo Bay. I think that they should just say, “Hey, if you guys don’t talk, you have to see Hercules In New York.” I guarantee those guys would talk much faster. You don’t need to do waterboarding or anything else. That’s the ultimate threat.''

while bodybuilders age doesn't work like other sport age it is far from irrelevant. He is 37. Heath is young. Kai and Rhoden are same age as Cedric but way way more accomplished. Dennis is a bit younger. Big Ramy is younger, been pro a similarly short time, and ahead of Cedric in both mass and and conditioning.
Cedric has a nice shape.............then? His conditioning don't even touch Mr. O's top 5...not sure even top 10.
If I am not mistaken Cedric has a full time job too..........good luck accomplihsing more in your hobby than guys that spend all there time doing it.
Cedric will have fans and hype for a while because he has a great look..... No one at the top is sweating him. Sadly bodybuilding is not all about looking good.

we might have already seen his peak last year. Big Ced was so robust last year because he was a fresh bber. Fresh bbers look robust on stage, like how Phil always looks fresh because he only needs 1 show a year. But Big Ced has been competing alot and this is taking a toll on his fullness. He just suddenly doesn't have that "pop" that he had last year. Some pros can go on a tour doing many shows and still stay fresh but the big powerful guys need time off. Either Ced is gonna have to do less shows or face the probability of a rapid decline in physique quality due to too much dieting
