    calories italian pizza

    Hi.
How many cals do you think there are in an average italian restaurant pizza? The pizza is typically thin, little cheese, some vegetables and some lean meat (chicken etc).
This will of course just be a guess, but what do you think? 200,220? As high as 250? Pr 100 gram that is.

Johnny's Pizza runs at 382 a slice for their hand-tossed crust with pepperoni. You're probably rocking about 250 per slice given the thin crust and lean toppings.

But they're Italian calories, so they count double.

Thank you. Anyone else? Might seem like an odd question, reason I ask is that I'm following IIFYM, but really want to have the opportunity to eat at a local restaurant in town from time to time.

I would try to find a similiar looking pizza that has a label in the supermarket and use that to guess the local restaurant's pizza.

So lets say your local tony's pizza restaurant serves a thin crust pepparoni pizza. Go to the supermarket and try to find a thin crust pepparoni pizza of the same size and get the data from the label.

Use the data from the label to guess what your tony pizza has in calories.

Google a generic thin crust at a chain and use that. Typical regular crust pepperoni is 300-350 per slice. Thin crus I'd go 250-300 and move on
