Hello
I am 18 and I used to be 276 before i started this diet and now im 245
Im on a doctor recommended 1000 cal diet filled with all the things my body needs to function properly
Eating shedule

4 - snack
6 - lunch
8 - snack
10 - dinner
(I stay up till about 3-4 am)
Exercise schedule
Everyday I walk 2miles and sometimes more which takes about 45min+
And before i get into bed i do 50 dumbbell curls (10 pound)
Mon/wed/fri - do a 25 min workout video which leaves me hurting the day after, which is why its spaced out
When i wake up my legs (esp calves) ache but it goes away when im sitting
Time between eating is mostly spent sitting or laying in bed watching a show
I try to walk between 4-8
Am i overdoing or underdoing anything
Any tips or things to add please tell me
I would love constructive criticism
Thanks

well im using my fitness pal and it gives me the amount of nutrients and other things i need for the day
of course some days i have less of 1 thing but i compensate for it the other day
I am a male/ 6'1/ 18 years old/ after walking 2 miles my soles and calfs hurt and once i sit down the pain is gone, however when i wake up i feel it for like 15 mins or so then its gone. with a dumbbell curls the pain last like 10 mins.
the workout video is one my friend gave me from his insane home fat loss CD he bought online, and its called the fat destroyer or something

I hate to contradict a doctor when I'm usually telling people to absolutely not get medical advice on an Internet forum, but seriously man, find a new doctor or at least get a second opinion in case there is something we don't know. 1000 calories is insanely low, especially at your size and age and I have little doubt some nutritional deficiency is causing some of the muscle pain and soreness (some is no doubt just a consequence of working out and being active).
Also, pain while walking could just be a case of the wrong shoes. I do a lot of long backpacking trips, 16-18 mile days in the mountains are not uncommon in decent terrain, and the shoes / boots / insoles make a huge difference. Walking on concrete or hard packed soil in thin soled shoes makes my calves and the arches of my feet go ballistic after only a couple miles, but a decent pair of running shoes (concrete) or trail runners (almost any other dry terrain) can be comfortable over many times the distance. Now cutting: Got a little more squishy than I wanted, heading down to 160lbs and seeing how things look.
5/24/13 176lbs
5/31/13 174lbs
6/06/13 172.5lbs
6/14/13 172lbs (? :/)
6/21/13 170.5lbs
7/06/13 171 lbs (Gasp blew my diet at Dollywood, must give up and become couch potato).
