    Cardio Post Workout

Someone at the gym told me he doesn't do cardio within 7 hours of working out because too much muscle will be burned, is this true?

well if cardio after training is bad then i've been doing bad things for a very long time. from what i know, during your training you deplete your glycogen stores then while doing cardio you burn fat. so therefore thats why i do cardio after training. now dont get me wrong, i dont go crazy doing high intensity cardio, thats in the AM. after training cardio is a nice steady pace.

Cardio burns calories, muscles need calories to recover.. That's it. If you do cardio after lifting, just eat a little bit more to make up for it. (especially if you're on a bulk)
