After backtracking a bit, I think i know what may have tanked me.
I was making a lot of lunches with flatout flat breads with "whitev whole wheat flour" using at least 2 per day. For the past week. I should have used the others that Did not use that flour (the flax seed ones for example)

for weight loss, all that really matters is the calories.
if you like the flax seed alternative it has other health benefits, and that's what makes it a good choice. http://www.webmd.com/diet/features/benefits-of-flaxseedstart where you are

DSUP - I think this is the first time I disagree with one of your posts. Now I am new(er) to this, but he is eating less calories in a day than I am, and I'm 200lbs. I started my cut at 2400 cals and tapered back to 2200 after my 3 week stall in early May. He says he's eating under 2000 now. Thinking long term, when he stalls at 375, what's he gonna do, trim them back to a 1000????
Which I'd bet is at or less than caprica6 is eating.
As discussed earlier on in the thread, I think one of two things is happening here. Either tonyflo is not counting EVERY MFing calorie, (again sauces, spreads, toppings, drinks, spices, dressings, gum) or his scale is broke as a joke and he needs a new one.
Tony - please, please go back & read the posts again after you mentioned how many calories your consuming. How many people said your calories don't look right? One of your posts began "I'm not trying to be pig headed, but"........
Neither am I, but when someone who has been doing anything, well, for a hell of a lot longer than I knew it exsisted, offers advice, I listen real close. If your calorie counts are true, as others have told you that have way more expertise than me, you are headed into a dead end dark ally. Looks enticing at the beginning, but gets scary quick and leads to no where. Your not eating enough at <2000 cals.
And for the love of weightloss, go buy a new scale. When the new one shows you a weight that begins with a 3, destroy old one in a fun manner!Excuses are like a-holes, everyone has one and they all stink

More than I thought I was gonna get this week, but I did have a really good week.

Carb is a carb.
Carbs=water weight if you go from low carb to high, usually.
But in this situation it doesnt seem to be the case.
He didn't say he increased carbs. All he said is he was eating something with white flour. If he's good with tracking calories carbs have been kept to a small variation.Last edited by FattyMcTubbs; 06-08-2013 at 06:07 AM.

Weighed in at ~183-184 yesterday down from 188. Few explanations my first weigh in was after a huge cheat and drinking binge the night before so there was probably a lot of water weight also I've been high 180s for a few weeks and I think I just got one of those "Whooshes" in weight. I can't tell exact numbers because I have a potato analog scale with tiny printed numbers so I have to average. If only it was this easy every week brb 2 week cut.
No drinking/cheating this weekend trying to keep the progress going.
Someone aware me on the teams?

You're right he just changed his flat breads, but there is a difference between the amount of carb in flax seed and white flour. This and salt (+ maybe some other things) can makes big variations in water weight for me.
He shouldn't care about these variations if he is eating at a constent deficit.
Edit: I'm not sure if his total amount of carb is the same actually...Last edited by iosews; 06-08-2013 at 06:27 AM.
