Because this morning I woke up to a faint whining sound and got up to investigate. It took me a few minutes of wandering around outside but I finally located the sound. Last night in the rain a family of baby kittens must have gotten washed into the drain on the street, and the mother was sitting there in distress trying to get to them. So I lifted the gate and rescued every last one of them and they're all gonna be OK.

As I was walking back to my house I noticed my neighbors child wandering dangerously close to the street and a bus was coming by. Then all of the sudden he booked it onto the street. I ran as fast as I could and dove to get him out of the way and saved his life, but unfortunately lost my right leg in the process.

My neighbor called the ambulance and I was rushed to the hospital where I was stitched up and in a cab back home by 10:30.

On my way out of the hospital an old lady was having troubles getting up the stairs (not gonna take the elevator with one leg, I won't let a silly injury stop me), so I went to the bottom and hopped up with her, 15 flights of stairs. I was tired, but I got her there safe and sound. Apparently she had no family left and offered to put me in her will which would have left me with well over 20 million dollars when she passed, but I insisted she donate her money to charity instead.

So I hopped back down the 15 flights of stairs and instead of calling for a cab with dice in the mirror I decided to hop back home, (had yet to do my cardio for the day).

On my way back home I decided I'd better lift so I stopped by my gym and did lower body. Was hard adjusting to the lack of a leg but you can do anything if you put your mind to it. I still managed 5x10 @ 405 lbs for squats, and a 5x10 495 lbs. dead lift. Needless to say I was a little disappointed my lifts had suffered so much, but I'll get back to form soon enough, just the loss of a leg was holding me back (or at least thats what I'm telling myself, it's probably because I missed a meal last week).

I left the gym but had no money in my pocket so couldn't get any much needed protein into my system. I didn't know what to do...

I'd heard of people "trading up", so I was hopping along and a 9.5/10 noticed me and said I looked joocy, she gave me her number. But I didn't care about that, I needed a trinket. I asked her if she had a pen or something, anything small, and sure enough she did! My day was just getting better. I took her pen and hopped off.

Within the next 8 minutes I traded the pen in for a stove, the stove in for an engine block, the engine block in for a tree house, the tree house in for a Prius, and the Prius in for $27,000 cash.

So I headed to Mac's milk and got 1L of chocolate milk.

But I still had $26,998.27 cents left and no idea what to do with it. As I hopped home I noticed a homeless man on the street, he looked like hed really just been kicked in the ta-tas by life, so I decided to put the extra money to good use. We went shopping for new clothes, headed to the employment center where we worked on a resume, and got him signed up for a room in a nearby apartment building. Within 27 minutes we were finished and he was now employed and ready to take life by the horns. I told him the rest of the money was his IF he could prove he would stay on track. I will be checking in on him monthly for the next 2 years. If he continues to improve I will give him additional funds monthly.

It was now 11:41 and I really had to get home to let my dogs out. The poor things. I took a little more of the leftover money and asked a kid riding a long board if I could buy it off him as I was in a rush home. He happily obliged, people are so nice around here. So I skateboarded the rest of the way home.

Was home by 11:42, let my dogs out then had a shower and made myself a Tea.

Did some repairs on the house, worked on my car, etc. nothing exciting.

Then decided I'd check out the misc., where I saw this thread. Wasn't much for a special day and I understand if you don't want to rep me, but no one in here is really saying what they did today, so I figured I'd give you the run down, maybe you might see something in my daily happenings that you could relate to, that may warrant a rep. If not, no hard feelings bro. I'm sure you'll choose the right guy.

Anyway I'm off now, gotta go volunteer at the old folks home, then off to the homeless shelter.

For what it's worth, I made a transformation from 230 pounds at 35%ish body fat to a current 170 pounds at 14%. Im almost at my long term goal of 10% i initally set out for. I also post around in other forums giving advice and tips based off of information from stickies.
