Case in point; I went to a rugby festival over the weekend and got mired hard.
Stats are maybe 190lbs, 5'11, 12-14% bf aka quite lean but only upper abs, 32" waist, 17" arms etc
Bearing in mind this was a RUGBY festival so there were a lot of jacked guys there including rugby pros.
Random events:
Two girls approaching me from the other side of the dance floor asking if they could feel my arms THEN asking for a photo with me.
Numerous hit ons (no recipro, married)
Being called big man etc all weekend by 15-20 guys I hadn't met before
People commenting non stop all weekend.
Now this sounds like a brag, I know. It's not. I actually didnt feel big thanks to misc, have now realised looking at my numbers despite not being shredded I've hit public admiration level, that's good enough for me!
Cliffs: if you're not sub 10% on misc at 190lbs 5'11 DYEL?

Such is the internet, bro. Everyone has $200k in savings and liquid, drive $100k car that's paid off, live in 4000 sqft house, 6'2" and 4% bf.
For the most part, people on these forums are just like the people in teh rag magazines. They will talk trash, criticize and tear about what people do and who they are all the while they are directionless lumps.678/424/700 - USPA Raw International Elite 220

I see nothing wrong with setting myself very high standards, better than people who do 30 crunches a night before holiday and like 'Yep, that'll do'

Ha cheers bro. I gotta say, I don't do it for mates, public, even my wife.. Just love lifting, absolutely love every session. The results are just a great bonus.
Not gonna lie, head was pretty big after his weekend, brb guys saying when we were getting in the hot tub 'put max near the door to lure the girls in'

I really struggle with staying lean, I'm usually coasting at 15-20% bf unless its June-September and sometimes I look huge when wearing work clothes (see stats then +20lb)(no brag, major endo/meso). People at the office are always making comments about being jack3d, getting accused of steroids etc. If I was shredded I'm pretty sure I would get raped at work from all the MILFs
The average gym goer is like the hulk to the average person. I remember before I started training I used to think my now training partner was absolutely massive, when in reality he had only been lifting about a year and had a slightly athletic body. Looking at photos of him from then and photos now, and then photos of myself now its like fuarrrrk. Before I started lifting I would have been happy with his before pics, now I'm absolutely miles ahead of his before pics yet I would rate my physique 5/10 at best, zyzz being 10.

also maybe a fellow military brah can agree but i thrive on the e-standard type attitude, all male basic and drill sergeants treated you like chit then females get involved and they start going soft on you cuz of them, it honestly made me want to be better and prove ppl wrong when they talk all that crap

That guy on the left is Lewis Moody, English rugby player and my mates (stag) hero.
He was chatting to him 10 minutes earlier and getting him to sign his tits.. Then we gave him some whiskey.
