First vic given to me by my own mother when I complained about a toothache. It made me feel really good, and I would often ask her for more after making up certain aches and pains. Part of me hates her for getting me started, but the main part of me knew what I was getting into to and they were bad. While she shgould have steered me clear of pain pills, I knew damn well I shouldn't be taking them.

im suprised you even get high anymore after dosing for so long. At my worst I was snorting 120mg of opana a day, and would hardly feel it. It would just take away the withdraw. Once off the next two weeks were the worst two weeks of my life, luckily I was able to get off work for the first week.

The longer you use the harder it's going to be when you come off, but you're lucky in that habit it pretty small. My advice is find out when you can get a few days off work, preferably the days before or after a weekend. And just tough it out and be prepared to not leave the house for a few days, just gotta man up and tough it out bro.

And to these people saying methadone or subs are stupid as fk, that stuff is 10 times harder to come off then norcos and your withdraws will last A LOT longer.

I know how hard it is to quit. It took many attempts before I was able to do it myself. My tolerance was much higher than yours and my quality of life had severely declined due to my over usage. It didn't cost me too bad financially because I had a back injury and my doc gave me a pretty good supply, but it was destroying me nonetheless.

You should look to your family for support. I know it can be scary, but it will greatly benefit you to quit.

For me the quitting cycle went like this...
-Quit using
-8 hours later WD's start to set in
-physical symptoms for up to a week
- the next week I call the honey moon period, I am proud I quit and am finally bettering myself. Sadly this only lasts about a week
- 2-3 wks form when I quit I would be overcome with depression and relapse

This happened MANY times. I kept trying and one day it finally stuck. Keep your head up and find away out, even if it means taking time off from work or treatment.


Edit: 11 months for me, still struggle at times thinking about it when I am down.

I used to get tons of prescriptions and I loved it. I'd save them for work or nights out. I never had a problem coming off of them and I try not to buy then. Alcohol is a different story. I used to stay drunk 7 days a week. I would workout while drinking beer and somehow I look great.
