Gracie is a little prick in our military thread and from his posts I've seen. He is joining my branch and I already see enough idiots roll through. I'm sure u can understand that.
Ok so I guess I should have went into EVERY reason to why the brake socks are needed not just one. And if you think prolonged exposure to the sun doesn't effect brake fluid thats your fairytale. Cheap advertising space yes, but they no doubt should be used by track riders.
I dont know where the aftermarket thing came from, I don't recommend much bike enhancing.
I am not a huge SM'r fan but damn is that a bonerific bike
Great choice, goes with the look of the bike perfect and those 1200's have a huge following from what I've seen.
Makin ton of money on the back end of those bikes. Lol at "here ya go itll just be 6 hours while we split the cases to change your oil."Last edited by yourname2221; 06-13-2013 at 12:10 PM.

Great story brah that's the reason why I'll never buy a ducati. If I'm spending that kind of money I want a reliable bike. They are the Italian version of harleys.

Hey buff, I may be mistaken but I think driving a motorcycle class is different than car. This link can help and again not sure if they really are 'different' laws. http://www.bikerplaza.com/motorcycle-law.html#CA

as with most things in life that require patience, the wait was certainly worth it. well played

so, like ele, i'm bored and in need of entertainment; thus, i'm fantasizing about playing the role of dr. frankenstein... with bikes (in terms of aesthetics, not performance). right now, if i could "vivisect" bikes and splice them together in any way i so desired to create my ideal beauty, i think i'd take the tail (and entire back half... dat line is so hnnnng) of the yami r6:
the front off the 848:

and the tank into seat curve and comfort of the zx10r:
if only i had even a trace amount of artistic ability, i could do a mock up that wouldn't look like complete crap. :-/

lmbo! no, dear, that would look like this:
i really like how i've captured the silky texture and complex pattern of the spider's web in this one.
and role models is hilarious.
no idea what you're trying to insinuate. pretty sure i've got a promising career with kawasaki's concept bike department.

There are plenty of horror stories for every manufacturer, especially BMW.
Still haven't seen anyone ride across the country and back on a S1000rr. It's been done on the Panigale, without issue.
Ducati owner with almost 6000 miles without any issues here.
GSB, your friend needs to go to a different dealer already and contact the regional rep from Ducati.
You're in WV, tell him to contact the people at Ducati Pond. I hear nothing but good things about them.Redskins - Capitals - Wizards - Nationals

Finally mounted my license plate instead of the Dealership paper. Somehow a nut fell into the exhaust can. Is this bad?

Wow this thread is bringing so many lulz.
I can't speak for all Harleys, but they've worked out the kinks in most of the models that I know of. labor and oem part costs are pretty terrible though. Buying from MoCo is like... no thanks jeff. I don't do it unless I can get a deal of some sort. Most of the time, I can do the work myself anyway, or find comparable gear elsewhere.
Also, this is kind of cool:
