im not even austrian but i have to agree, AFL is entertaining as fuark.. so much athleticism on every level, and theres nonstop action throughout the whole game.. teams can come from large deficits behind in the final quarter and still win, so the game rarely feels over

I watched a bit of it the other day on ESPN. Some black Fijian guy scored a last minute goal to win the game for some team from Perth. It was pretty entertaining but I questioned why their shorts needed to be so damn phucking short. If they were a little longer, I'd consider watching it.

Box lacrosse = a bunch of overly aggressive juicers hacking at eachother with steel sticks and scoring/fighting constantly. I know it's not the most popular sport but it's fairly entertaining to watch/play. As someone who hates AFL and is bored to tears by it, I was forced to a game in Melbourne last year and the atmosphere was insane. The crowd was bigger for a regular season game than the NRL grand final.Originally Posted by Cribbage8
