One year down, many years to go to reach my goal. I can say that I did not skip a single day this entire year and I'm proud of that, look forward to reaching my ultimate goal.
Me on DAY ONE ( May 21st, 2012 ) About 180lbs @ 20% to 23% bf - Never stepped foot in a gym in my life.
My 3 months in ( Starting with a shred to build my base first rather than bulk up ) Down to 160lbs @ 6 to 7% bf - With a shirt on it was like "DO I EVEN LIFT?" but I was very shredded ( face looked as if I was sick tho from 6% bf lol )
During my slow bulk ( I semi-regret going very careful on my bulk and going slowly, but I'm still learning, this winter I plan to put on some serious size ) I got up to 185lbs while still keeping 12% to 13% bf
This is ONE YEAR later ( lol flex face) while I was still on bulk and about to shred for summer, taken a week before the 21st of May 2013 ( Making this close to my 1 year shot )
In this pic i'm at 176lbs 10% bf ( still shredding for summer, goal is 6 to 7% while maintaining as much lean muscle mass as possible.
I will post more pics later once I reach my goal for this year before I start my bulk for next year! Yes I train legs too...lol full body shots inc!
If I can do it, so can you, don't give up, never let anything deviate you from your goals. Proper diet / Nutrition / Research / Long hours at the gym / cardio. No need for anything else. Special thnx to my bro David who got me into this, trained me and taught me a lot of what I know.
PEACE!

Never stepped in a gym? Were you a collegiate or professional athlete?
Started 2012 at over 410lbs (that was as high as my scale went) and I ended the year at 260lbs.
Still going strong while eating whatever I want - whenever I want; I just keep it to under 2000 calories a day.
TEAM IIFYC (if it fits your calories)

Nope, the only thing I did when I was younger I played Rugby for a few years...
You never went to a gym ever?!? Dont believe it.
But nice shape. Keep up the good work.
PS: 2 guys taking pictures of themselves together half naked in a locker is kinda weird.
and as for your ps, come on bro, you're not that much of a homophobe are you?... if you feel awkward with another shirtless guy then I don't know what to tell you...I don't lol
good job man
how did you gain 6 lbs of muscle while dropping 20 lbs on your cut? routine/diet?
(180 at 20% BF =144 LBM, 160 at 6-7% = 150lbs)
half way down...but this is what worked for me and how I did it, everyone's body is different and some will argue my methods, don't matter, look at my results :P I believe when anyone just starts out the initial shock to your muscles will pretty much make you gain if you do proper form workout, nutrition and cardio mix. ( noob gains )
so that pic was 3 months in the gym? After never setting foot in a gym in your life? fake or celltech.
i remember your old transformation thread. Good Progress.
Great progress.
can you post your routine (starting vs now)/diet/macros.
good job.
Wow man, I like this kind of progress, lean and consistent, huge congrats bro. WOuld you mind sharing your routine and diet? Also, you got pretty lean in the first three months, would you mind sharing what you did in there as well? And also nutrition, if is not much to ask for. Congrats again!
Train hard - set goals - don't cheat - don't skip.
Peace!
EDIT: Most recent pic taken yesterday
One more month of shred then maintain for summer ( or shred more depending on how I look end of June )Last edited by vsebi; 06-08-2013 at 12:36 PM.

Geez OP, didn't get enough attention in your last P.O.S. thread?
Oh well, at least your not posting natty every other sentence this time...
Gonna make sure to put this one to a quick finish (I still get a kick at the "90 days" part of your last thread)
Just gonna post this to make sure you don't BS anymore newbies...
http://www.bodyrecomposition.com/mus...potential.html
"Again, these values are for males, females would use roughly half of those values (e.g. 10-12 pounds in the first year of proper training).
Please note that these are averages and make a few assumptions about proper training and nutrition and such. As well, age will interact with this; older individuals won’t gain as quickly and younger individuals may gain more quickly. For example, it’s not unheard of for underweight high school kids to gain muscle very rapidly. But they are usually starting out very underweight and have the natural anabolic steroid cycle called puberty working for them.
Year of training also refers to proper years of training. Someone who has been training poorly for 4 years and gained squat for muscle gains may still have roughly the Year 1 potential when they start training properly.
Now, if you total up those values, you get a gain of roughly 40-50 pounds of total muscle mass over a lifting career although it might take a solid 4+ years of proper training to achieve that. So if you started with 130 pound of lean body mass (say in high school you were 150 pounds with 12% body fat), you might have the potential to reach a level of 170-180 pounds of lean body mass after 4-5 years of proper training. At 12% body fat, that would put you at a weight of 190-200 pounds.
Again, that’s a rough average, you might find some who gain a bit more and some who gain a bit less. And there will be other factors that impact on the above numbers (e.g. age, hormones, etc.)." - Lyle McDonaldLast edited by Charlie581; 06-12-2013 at 05:07 PM.
