Few years ago I was also shocked when I heard about this baby killing story. But there are many explanations on what happened and no one knows which one is true. Juan and his girlfriend at that time said that he played with baby and she hit her head on edge of the crib accidentally.

i saw that too. i lost some respect for md for doing that ****. they kick off a great bodybuilder and an even greater person for pretty much the polar opposite. smh :/

Sometimes, I have a hard time understanding where the IFBB and sponsors stand on athlete conduct. I mean, if they're looking for a decent role model, Cedric really embodies a lot of the values that most people hold in high regard. In this time and age, the sacrifices our veterans make to ensure democracy, usually count for something. It just seems like MD was too quick to the draw for my taste, but my opinion doesn't matter. I never buy any of these magazines anyway, so it's no sweat off my back.

I just think it's ridiculous that everyone in the sport, on the various radio shows, is suggesting that Cedric needs to quit working and focus exclusively on bodybuilding. It's like they're expecting a rapid transformation, or overnight success if he went that route. Then of course, the moment he falters, they stop supporting him. As Shawn Ray would say, "Things that make you go hmmm..."

That's just how MD Works. Not sure how often you read the mag, but quite a few guys (especially newer pros) over the years have gotten signed and before you get used to them in the mag, they're gone, and according to Paul Dillet, Dave Palumbo, Lee Priest, John Romano and many others... Blechman doesn't call or anything- he just doesn't send them the monthly check and ignores their phone calls. Pretty screwed.
