I've used it before and went extremely slow (.10 mg per dose) and still have more freckles and spots of darker pigmentation because of it. I'm sorry but airbrush tan is still the way to go. Yes, it got me tan as hell and the thicker skin is great (although if you have bad skin or wrinkles this may make them appear worse) but it does have sides that are going to vary from person to person.
Ultimately you're injecting a chemical with little long term research (10 years or so is just a flash in the pan if you think about your potential lifespan) for the sake of vanity.
I do understand how much of a
life changer it can be for someone who is a ginger though and hates being a ginger. It's not that I don't get it, but I don't think most melanotan fanatics really look at it objectively when they are presenting it to unawares.
Pros:
- You will get tan
- Libido
- Decreased appetite
Cons:
- Freckles/darker spots
- Who knows what this **** does to you 20 years from now
- Wounds will heal with darker scars while on this
Edit: Adding things people have expressed concerns about in logs on melanotan forums that I feel are important
- People have said they felt their immune system was compromised while taking it
- Slow wound healing (now imagine if you get seriously injured and can't heal properly)
- Some individuals felt it ruined their skin and their skin never went back to normal after discontinuing use
