Any recommendations for a 5-100 lb dumbbell set?

Looking to buy a brand new 5-100 dumbbell set after I decided to give up on looking at Craigslist ads for a full set.

    Budget ~$2,000 - $3,000.

Rubber or urethane preferred and the set will be used for a home gym.

I was looking at this the other day:

    roguefitness.com/york-dumbbell-sets.php

Are these any good for the price?

Post your recommendations and thanks in advance.

If you are buying new, go to Ivanko's site and click on "clearance" link and then on dumbbells - you can get a sick set if 5-100 pro style for 2400 (+shipping), which is about the same price as those hex dumbbells.

This is actually located at the CSM used equipment warehouse in Kennesaw, Ga. as this guy sells equipment for them. Great price for urethane. This set is a new blemished set. You may be able to haggle the price under $3000 but you will still have to pay for delivery.

You did not list your location. I am finding quite a few used sets from several locations around the country. Used sets usually sell quickly as the pricing is more in line with home gym owner budgets.

You will find it hard to find many "new" delivered sets within your budget. This will show you a range of pricing for new sets.

Thanks for linking (almost at 50 posts, lol). I actually live just outside Kennesaw, I drive by CSM all the time. Britni is really hit and miss with communication, though - it's like she loses interest if you ask more than one question.

I have a set of Ivanko's like the one they posted earlier, with the steel end plates (got it on Craigslist for 900 including rack and bench). They are awesome, that would be my pick. Rubber encased never appealed to me. The grip on Ivanko's is simply the best. Also think about getting a rack for the many dumbbells.

If you have time and patience and sit on that budget, a good deal will come up that you can seize upon right away.

    Hey justaqtip,

The Yorks are nice, and if you like them contact allisonforeman@aol.com , who is the York factory rep. She should be able to get you those db's for 30-40% off msrp, and a great price on shipping. Good luck
