    Body Solid Rubber Oly plates

Anyone have these particula rubber Body Solid oly plates? http://www.bodysolid.com/Home/ORT/Ru...Olympic_Plates

I'm looking at buying the black plates from a co-worker. He's asking about $0.60 per pound. Good deal or keep looking?

Not sure about the price but I have and love those. The best plates I've used so far, easy grip is awesome, they are easy to slide on and off the sleeves due to metal center hub, rubber is quite thick and good quality.

If I can get used, but looks like brand new condition of the Body Solid Rubber Oly plates, 510 pounds, for $350 delivered, is that a good deal, great deal, so-so deal?

I think it's a good price especially if you want rubber plates. $0.50/lb for standard iron weights is what's generally thrown around here. An extra $0.10/lb for grips and rubber coating seems fair.

LOL, no, I actually sniffed them. You could smell a little, but not overwhelming. Any strong rubber smell has mostly gone away.

Most rubber plates that I run across are in the .70-.80 cents lb. range

That's good. The ones they have in the store smell terrible. Sounds like a reasonable price to me.

It takes a good shower of Simple Green and a couple of days of outside venting to make it mostly completely disappear. Mine don't smell at all now.

Not for anything, but I really love those plates and wish I had some.

I've got more Oly plate weight than I'll ever need - well, I do have a leg press, so maybe someday I'll need more, but....

If I had a 'wish' list, those BS grip plates would be on there.

Where did you see this at? Also the 60-70/lb number I am guessing is for used?(I am not opposed to it, but Ive been searching), the cheapest delivered I can find is Rock solid fitness 355lb for $675.

    Would appreciate any leads here.

Is that for new ORST355? A quick google search finds they should be <$600 (free white glove home delivery today)
http://www.appliancesconnection.com/...5-i198283.html / SAVE10 coupon, or maybe wayfair with their 10% coupons.

It has been recommended to try calling fitness factory to get the very best deal as they are the source for body solid stuff:
