    How I work my Shoulders

    I work my shoulders right now with barbell military presses, side lat raises, and front raises. I'm thinking the front raises are unncessary, and I'd be better served subbing that exercise out for another one. Any good suggestions there? And towards other good ways to hit the shoulders? Thanks!!

    Reverse pec deck. Works the rear.

    This is what I've been using for a good few months now, as I train at home I'm limited to what I can use, but this routine really gets those shoulders into boulders.

    * Arnold Press, 4x12x15
    * Lateral Raise. 1x20-25x10, 1x12-16x10, 3x8-12x10
    * Rear Deltoid Raise, 1x20-25x10, 1x12-16x10, 3x8-12x10
    * Front Deltoid Raise, 1x20-25x10, 1x12-16x10, 3x8-12x10
    * Military Press, 4x12x40
    * Shoulder Shrugs, 4x40x25

    First number is sets, second are reps (I have a rep range for raises but always hit top rep) last is weight I use, which is in Kg. Sometimes I'll substute Shoulder Shrugs (Dumbbell) with Barbell Shrugs, 4x30x60.

    Feel free to use or use it as a base, you could take front raises out as military press stimulates the posterior also.

    It's essential to work your rear delts (posterior deltoids). Bent over dumbbell lateral raises are good, so are reverse pec deck as Ronin4help said.

    yes front raises are unnecessary unless that area lags which is uncommon. smith machine neck press hits the mid delts really well. seated db press is also great. reverse pec deck and bent over rear delt flyes work the rear delts which is a necessity in most cases.

    also do not neglect rotator cuff work
