    Cutting

So I'm trying to cut and I found a workout plan with lifting. You lift everyday. Each day a different body part. Should I keep my cardio to every other day? Or can I still do it everyday? If I can't do my cardio everyday then should I lower my calorie intake. I'm taking in about 1700 because I'm fairly active and do cardio everyday?! Thank you

The biggest aspect in cutting is a proper diet.
Your workout regimine is pointless if you don't have a proper diet and I'm not too sure about your stats but I would definitely say 1700 cal/day is too low.
Head over to the nutrition forum, read the calorie/macro determining sticky, figure out your #'s and needs, than eat at a 10% deficit (the 10% reduction in calories coming from your carb intake) and that'll be plenty to have a successful cut, regardless of your workout regimine

It's one of those things you'll just have to try and see how it works out. 1,700 calories doesn't sound too low to me... give it a shot for a three week period to see how you feel and also how much weight you lose per week. If you're losing more than 2 lbs per week and it's causing you to lose strength on your lifts, you should either increase intake or cut down on the cardio (or a combination of the two).
