Hey man. 4000 calories is hard for anyone, but there aren't any shortcuts. The key is consistency. Once you eat that much for a week or two, it'll be easy. Workout hard and you'll be hungry. Eating that much takes a lot of mental concentration. On the other hand, listen to your body, if you're full you're full.
Divide up your meals. Eat 5-7 maybe 9 times a day if you have to.
Also, deadlifts and squats are key. Stretch, and watch videos on proper form. Start light weight, and gradually move the weight up as you get stronger.
Best of Luck

OP im taking in 6.5 k to 7k calories a day its hard the first couple weeks but youll get used to it, for me i started eating really high density foods like bagels, peanut butter, and even some oil shots a couple times a day it was awful but you will gradually get used to it. Also for me my appetiete got alot better when i drank like a liter of lemon water every day for some reason this made me hungry and also try chewing gum during the day thats a tip that worked for me. Good luck OP

Here is a cool story.
Few days ago I felt tired, in the middle of a cold, and didn't feel like eating properly or exercising.
I ate what I wanted. 2 hot sausages, salami, onion rings, parmesan chicken, pringles, candy bars, ice-cream a bottle of beer.
I though I had cheated big time and eaten a lot, so even though I didn't feel like doing I counted the calories for the day.
Surprise: 1600. That's a lot less than what I usually eat and still, even with calorie counting experience, I thought it would be a lot more than usual.
Bottomline is: if you don't count you might overestimate your calories a lot (this is what naturally skinny people like me do) people who tend to gain weight easily do the opposite for some reason, underestimate themLast edited by JaredPunch; 05-21-2013 at 04:42 PM.
