There isn't a legit pause in Spoto's 722 but Mendelson's 716 didn't have one either...

Isaku (Bill) judged the meet and actually called both lifts and he said the 722 had a pause. He red lighted it because his foot moved.Originally Posted by IronAddict7

nope. If you're making that comment based on what you saw in the feed he didn't beat the press command. Maybe on his 716, but either way there was a lag/delay with the feed and most of the benches appeared to have been "pressed" before the command.Originally Posted by IronAddict7

I highly doubt he ever will, but you never know. I could see him hitting around 730 raw in the next year and then just getting stronger and chilling until someone starts to become dangerous. Then he'll probably break his own record again. I'm about 99% sure he's going to Russia in the near future and I'd be surprised if we didn't see a near 730 press there.Originally Posted by MillerTime07

The video is taken from a stream - the delay is awful, lol. Jim McDonald should upload a vid of it on the Super Training channel, there's always other cameras taking up better videos.

That was awesome, its the slowest succesful bench iv seen him do, ussually he either wxplodes it up or he misses it. Was isaku running the mono at some stage? Dan green did excellent as well

The feed clips are kinda misleading. There's definitely a pause and he presses on the command.

I can see the pause, there is a bit of a bar sinking which makes it a bit heard to see clear cut. Looks more legit than scots IMO

I agree with this, there is a clear gap between him pressing and the command being given, he hit panic mode i think. Still strong press but dunno, but like the other guy said mendelsons WR was "as legit" as spotosOriginally Posted by IronAddict7
