    Is this real??

To check how many pounds you need to lose to hit a bf%...found this on a thread.

so if one is 200 lbs at 15% bf you would then do 200x.15=30
    and you wanted to be 195 @ 10% 195x.10=19.5

    then 30-19.5 = 10.5

So at 200 you would need to lose 10.5 lbs of fat? to be 189.5 at 10%bf

I can't exactly prove or disprove what you're asking, however, in reality there is no set calculation for this. When you cut, you're gonna lose some muscle mass as well as fat, so you really can't make this sort of estimate before you start, it's more of an "as you go" kinda thing.

Sorry, OP, but that's all I've got.

Mathematically correct, but in reality you do not lose fat without the loss of muscle mass. What this means is, you might meet the "calculated weight" but you will not be at the desired body fat because some of this lost weight is lost muscle.

but i thought if you ate enough protein you will minimize muscle loss?

    Your correct.

10.5 lbs of fat is what you would have to lose.

It is still likely that you will lose some muscle though when you are cutting. Just keep lifting heavy like you said have a good diet with lots of protein and you will retain most of it.

Unfortunately, some amount of muscle loss will always occur, as a natural anyway. How much is dependant on your protein intake, how much of a deficit you are in, efficiency of workouts etc.

after a cut would my lifts go down? On average how much would my arm size and chest and everything decrease? I never cut after a bulk before. Also is there anyway to maintain 100% of your muscle?

Yeah just do it right. Eat clean and a lot of protein. I made strength gains when I cut 30 lbs awhile back.
