Passed my NASM CPT test today

I'm looking forward to a new career. This is my second go around as a trainer. I worked for a Nautilus gym in the late 70's as an instructor. We did HIT training.

I'll be starting my corrective exercise, senior fitness and Nutrition certificates over the next 6 mo. I'm also going to look into a Kinesiolgy and Anatomy classes

    Congrats,

Now you gonna train your clients old school 70's style or with the OPT model. You gonna get the rest of your certs from NASM?

Probably a combination of both. Basics work but I like the progressive model the OPT is designed around. For most people who are just looking to be more functional I think it's great. For old school bodybuilding....who knows. Most who look for trainers aren't looking to get big their looking to get small and have a fuller life. But I'm looking forward to getting to train some people who just want to lift too.

It always depends on the clients needs and wants
