4.5 billion years of steady progress and advance, yet people think there is miraculously a more intelligent life form out there than the human being ?
mind=blown
people need to stop watching stupid hollywood movies and think with their own brain, do some research about earth and how chances were 1:100000000000000 after the big bang that life could even exist on this planet. I'm not saying there is no life on other planets, bacteria, yes , more intelligent than humans ? nope.

for life to exist there has to be ingredients so unless the ingredients have not interacted with each other, there will be no life.
Yes, suns or stars exist in other other galaxies and even in our own galaxy milky way. if there's no interaction of ingredients life will not exist. it takes some incredible force to do this incredible thing.

I really can't be close-minded enough to believe that we are the only intelligent evolved life form out there. It is very possible, which is kind of depressing in a way when you think about it, but at the same time, I personally doubt it. For all we know there could be some 12-armed alien in some other part of the universe discussing the very same thing at this very moment in time.

Supposed?
Life isn't sacred or special, if the right conditions are met, then life will most likely develop, regardless of where you're located in the Universe. With the sheer amount of planets and galaxies present in the observable Universe, probabilistically it's safe to say that there's life out there. I'm not talking about intelligent life, which obviously takes longer to evolve (though it's still a short amount of time in the grand scheme of things), but still, you get the point.
I believe a famous scientist made the calculations, don't remember who exactly."He who cannot obey himself will be commanded." - Nietzsche

i actually always thought what if we do find life, they are humanoids like us, but they are basically dumbasses, how you imagine people were in the 13th century n ****,
just inferior versions of humans, like we literally have nothing to gain or learn from them and they just take and take our knowledge then make guns n **** and we are like oh chit we just fuked them up now they have our problems tooTwinkcel fitness log

there could be future intelligent life out there that's still in its developmental processes. By the time they're as evolved as us or past us then we'd be long gone and they'll be sending out machines to scour what's left of our planet and find things that they believed once may or may not have harbored life.

I'm at a loss for words. Your words are eloquently put while completely disregarding so many factors such as.... What do scientists with much more background on this subject say? They say that the possibilities of us being the only intelligent life are comparable to impossible. I won't delve into sightings and accounts by government officials

misc is crazy man
somebody has a valid point bcuz the oddz of randomly creating life, even if all things are right (temperature, water, all elemtns), the chances are sao tiny that out of normal elements something like DNA, a replicator, what is the only thing for complicated life forms to come out, does happen somewhere
and then the life form has to gain a consciousness, nobody knows how that works right now
u are like "dont be feking arrogant, there has to be other intelligent life thats more intelligent than us, u morroorn hurrrrrr"
and if somebody thinks we are created by a big bearded man u are okay with it
dat dere english heheheinb4 do u even english
*neba forget*
