Hey guys, anyone know of a program/app that warns you when a stock is approaching it's 52w low? I mean a program where I can tell it to do the aforementioned with the whole of the ASX300.

Trading is easy. Being consistently profitable is another story. If youre new, test your method on sim but that's it. Trade live so you can get used to the discomfort.
No. 50 is too small. You need at least a couple hundred for some cushion. My broker wants a minimum $200.

Brb getting whacked, 2 of 3 down 5% today. The NAS is getting crushed! Media says wall street isn't worried about a default ... Ummm I think one of the writers should actually look at market activity! VIX >20 ... If it gets to 25 I may take that bet.

If you can use excel it's pretty simple. Create a spreadsheet with a column for the stock ticker, current price, 52 wk low price, etc. add a formula for when the current price gets within whatever threshold you want, say 10% of 52 week low. And have that cell turn red or whatever color you want when it does.

Click refresh data, boom. I used to keep this screen up at work until I was told it didn't seem directly applicable to my actual projects, lol. Unfortunately an excel sheet with a bunch of flashing red, green, and blue cells is fairly conspicuous.

fxcm but i literally just started doing this. they offer a demo account with 50k took me like an 1hour to get used to the system and learn everything brb bought 12k worth of slots or w/e there called brb wake up to 5k profit sucks its a demo. i made 50 cents with my real account tho

I pulled it through the connections under data. MSN MoneyCentral Investor Stock Quotes was my data source. I couldn't find a copy pastable source into excel of all the current S&P stocks so I had to manually type them in. I did it for the Russel 3000 and almost killed myself halfway through.

I stored the data on a separate sheet and pulled the cells into my main sheet as the MSN Money extension was ugly and clunky as phuck.
