Upper Back Pain - Need Help Diagnosing

I had what I thought to be a shoulder pain stemming from an injury 8 months ago. The pain is when I extend my arms out in front of me and drop my shoulders. The pain is dull and sometimes, but rarely, tingly. I posted a pic below of the exact location of the pain.

I had an MRI arthogram done on my shoulder last week and it only showed mild bicep tendinosis in my left shoulder, which my shoulder ortho says would not cause any pain in the area I am describing. He was out of ideas and recommended physical therapy for a periscapular strain. I refuse to accept this as a diagnosis being how it's been over 8 months now. There is no atrophy and the pain is not that of a strain. I am leaning towards believing that is it a nerve issue.

I'm stuck as what to do now? See a neurologist? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!

i had pain in the exact same spot a while ago. low bar squatting made it almost unbearable and OHP didn't help. after several months of not low bar squatting and taking a few off weeks, the pain hasnt come back. i still dont know how the hell it happened but i think it has something to do with facet locks (not sure if thats the name in english)
    Always pick 4

I think you meant Facet Joints? If so, I don't think that is my issue as I don't low bar squat and it's been a good 6-8 months now since this started. It all actually started when I was unracking a barbell on the incline bench. I felt a slight pop in my shoulder area and it's never been the same since. I'm going to book an appointment to the neurologist and see if it's some sort of nerve issue back there. It's the most annoying pain ever!

Is there any specific type of neurologist I should see? Are there specialists for certain areas minus headaches?
