You really shouldn't call someone a moron when you can't see the forest for the trees. I'm sure you wouldn't have made your thread if you understood ins and outs of nutrition.

I guess you got seriously good advice here and you're still arguing.

However, to keep your mind at peace, at this weight you're on, you need to look up the nutrition section to find your maintenance calories, add 500 calories surplus, and you will gain weight.

If you can't eat all that food you can take a regular protein shake (cheaper than a weight gainer) and look use the search button for "home made gainer" which are different home made gainers that have a lot of calories, cheaper, easy to make.

If you're still not convinced with all the above, and you're still going to persist seeking the answer that "you" want to hear. I suggest getting Pro complex over serious mass, thought it depends on your diet.

Then I suggest clearing that out in the future.

Also PLEASE do yourself and head over to the nutrition section and check Emma Leigh's thread.

To bulk, you need excess calories. ON Serious provides 1250 calories and 50g of protein per serving, while ON Pro Complex Gainer provides 600 calories and 60g of protein per serving. Taking each products profile and price into consideration, I suggest you to choose Serious Mass. Note that you will still have to eat your daily whole foods properly. Don't skip meals, else you would be wasting your money you spent on supplements. So, eat as much as whole foods as you can, and supplement with a weight gainer to meet your daily calorie needs (and to some extent your daily protein needs).

What 'unnecessary ingredients'? If you feel that ON Serious Mass is not good enough for you, there are other weight gainers available from other companies.
For your target, you need to choose weight gainers that offer around 1000 calories per serving at a decent price. Search for a weight gainer that is suitable for you at the store.

There are usually two types of weight gainers available in the market. One type of weight gainer (so-called a lean weight gainer) provides around 600 calories and 50g of protein per serving, and the other type of weight gainer provides around 1000 calories and 50g of protein per serving. I suggested the second type because the 'OP' wants to bulk and asked for a supplement. His main concern would be calorie intake rather than protein intake, and hence a supplement providing higher calorie to protein ratio would be more helpful. Of course, he can take 2 servings of the first type of weight gainer, and hence supplement adequately in both calories and protein, but the cost would be higher and he might not need that much of protein supplementation.

Did you ask this question because SciVation Mass Gainer provides only 400-410 calories and 32g of protein per serving?

    LOL.

Maybe 5 lbs of LBM and 35 lbs of fat+water if you do everything right. Go to the nutrition section. You clearly have no idea what you're doing. Did you finally realize you had no muscle cutting from 138 -> 123?
The above opinion is my own and does not reflect the opinion of the companies I shill for.

I have not tried ON Pro Complex Gainer. So, I judge it by its profile, recommendations and reviews. But, I have tried ON Serious Mass. For fast bulking, using 1/2 to a 1 serving of ON Serious Mass daily can be very helpful.

2-4lbs/month. Anything higher than that is just stockpiling unnecessary fat.

Wouldn't it be more beneficial for the OP to know how many calories he needs per day, and then looking for a weight gainer that provides the amount of calories that he cannot consume from whole foods? A blanket recommendation of a weight gainer that is 1000+ calories may not be the answer.

No, I asked the question because your comment struck me as odd. I haven't mentioned a Scivation product in this thread at all prior to responding to your post.

Well I guess because the supplements called a weight gainer. It means its going to put on mass.

People get way to caught up in supplements.. F*ck just go eat some FOOD.
