Women are more likely to cheat than men are when in a committed relationship. In fact I'll say that a man, if he plays his cards right can get 9/10 women to cheat. Their emotion and how they feel trumps their logic. Do women naturally lack noble qualities such as loyalty, generosity, courage, etc. which are found mainly in men?

It seems that while a man will go to hell and back (heck a lot of them even die for their spouses - just see batman shooting) for his spouse, she would never do the same. One day she says she loves him and the next day she's sucking off his best friend.

Any woman with above average attractiveness (ie. 6/10 and above) knows that she will have 5-10 men interested in her at any given moment. All she has do is walk out the door. Meanwhile, for men it is never that easy. All men have to put in effort to attract women. Even attractive men, they need initiate a relationship just like every other man.

A man invests much more energy to keep a relationship intact (ie. hence why miscers constantly posting threads - Did I dun goof with this girl?). The power [wrongly] completely lies with the woman. Hence it is much easier for her to cheat.

i would say it has more to do with a lack of consequences. I know so many guys who put up with women when they cheat in their relationships. The modern young woman sees very little consequences in result of her sexual actions. One principle I stand by is that I will never **** a girl any of my close friends have plowed. And you wouldn't believe how many of them try to. I've only done it once. Learned the consequence of doing it and never again.

You have to account for the sociological factors that come into play. Men are more likely to be emotionally dependent on a woman, and more likely to name his girlfriend/wife as the only person that he is emotionally open and vulnerable with. When his relationship ends, he loses his best friend; the one person he has confided in and looked to for emotional support, likely for years. He is less likely to have a group of friends/family he is comfortable opening up to and leaning on when he's hurting. A woman, on the other hand, typically has a gaggle of friends, co-workers, and family members that she routinely confides in and leans on. When the relationship ends, yes, she may be losing her best friend... but he is rarely her sole confidant. She has shoulders to cry on after the breakup, and her friends/family will keep checking up on her and will keep her busy and be there whenever she wants to cry or talk or blow off steam. The guy is more likely to be taken out for drinks and told to get over it.

This is not gender specific, both genders can lack loyalty - it's not something that's embedded into a specific sex.

But there are a lot of dirty women out there, hell I'd say at least 90% aren't worth anything more than a sexual pleasure. But there are some decent women to who want to have families and be loyal to their husbands, just like there are men who want to be loyal to their wives and do the same. It's all about filtering out the crap and finding the gold.
