    How long does effect of Pre-workout last?

    I am curious to know. Even though it's not mentioned anywhere, but I'd like to know your experience? For me it lasts up to 12 hours since I cannot sleep on time.

    If I take a supplement 3 hours before my bedtime it takes me about 5-6 hours more to sleep then the usual time. Again much depends on the pre-workout too, I use No-Xplode 2.

    depends on your tolerance to caffeine, considering the half life of caffeine is 5-7 hours, if you take it late in the afternoon, it can hinder your sleep

    either take it earlier or lower your dosage (half a scoop instead of a full scoop)

    I don't think half scoop would work as well as full scoop. Normal serving size is 1 scoop so I would stick to that.

    you'd be surprised, if you are sensitive to stims, 1/2 a scoop will still work very well (depending on what product we are talking about)

    I do 1/2 scoop of ErgoPUMP (175mg per scoop) and I still get plenty of energy/pump from it and best of all, I can take it at 5pm and still get to sleep at 10pm where as a full scoop has me awake until 12pm+

    If I take a caffeine heavy PWO at around 4:45 p.m., I will have trouble falling asleep before 11:00 p.m.

    Just a suggestion: superpump max has around 140.g caffeine per scoop, which is on the low side by today's standards, but still provides excellent effects from good amounts of everything else. Or you could try Hemavol or body forge.

    Purple Wraath has no stims so I really doubt that had any effect, you should sip on it intra-workout next time

    It is all dependent on your tolerance level to stimulants. Some handle them better than others and the effects wear off faster. It would be beneficial to look at the labels of any pre-workout you're considering and assess your purchase from there.
