Went to a "gym" for the first time, hoping to get membership. Crazy bish thought I had money spewing out my arse. There was an initial fee of 1000HKD (125USD) followed by 800HKD (100USD) monthly payments.
In all fairness though, I think it was the sort of place the gayboys go. All the lifts I went into had the 2F button removed/ blacked out, so I had to take the cargo lift, and came out in the men's changing room, which was full of guys smearing cream and styling their hair in the mirror. And they used this guy as their mascot.
brb, enrolling at government-funded poverty gym
brb, hasn't got a squat rack
brb, dumbbells only go up to 50lbs
brb, need to take a 3hour class with an assessment to make sure i'm not gonna try and use the pec deck for legs
brb, no open classes till next phuckign month. Already been a month since I left school (used to use the school gym at lunch)
brb, working out at home with 1 20kg dumbbell i bought when I first started
brb, can't eat chicken because it comes from china and might have bird flu
brb, at home and have little control over macros
Feels batman to live in a country where (probably) less than 1% lifts

Hong Kong lol
My gym is $20 bucks a month no commitment, no fees
It's not the nicest but it has everything I need. 5 squat racks, dumbbells go up to 200 pounds, 5+ stationary machines (I only use for rack chins), 5+ incline benches, mirrors everywhere, 10+ benches, tons of 5-10-25-45 pound plates, 4 pull up stations with tons of cables, etc. Badass place and lots of experienced powerlifters go there

majority of supermarkets are controlled by Li Ka Shing and all his mates, so most of the stuff they sell is crap from china. 4USD for three chicken breasts, but probably battery-farmed, drugged up, infected stuff. Chinese chickens are like cheap hoes.
If you go to one of the few supermarkets that sell imported stuff, they're aimed for rich people, so they only sell imported, free range organic chicken 15USD for two breasts.
Food, in general, is pretty cheap though, since there's hardly any tax. Meat and western food is the only exception.
In october i start uni, so I'll be free to do what the hodge twins tell me to do. Gonna be in a rural(ish) area, so it'll be close to the farms for cheap chicken, eggs, milk, etc. Still need to pay for membership there though, and I imagine it'll be full of curl monkeys and cardio bunnies*Wish I was dead crew*

Mines pretty expensive. Lifetime fitness is the name. Think it's 80-90 a month maybe more. It's super nice though. Probably 40 machines(srs), 6 cables, 12 benches, DB's go up to 200. 2 bball courts with like 3 pools with sauna and all that crap. And like no joke 40 cardio machines. It's massive and nice.

I pay B$ 65 (US$ 52.70) per month. I go to Fitness Zone, owned by Wu Chun (Actor).
A lot of tourists from China, Hong Kong and Taiwan come to Brunei just to go to his gym and meet him personally.'Too much of anything is too much'- All Time Low
