Had my first meet today. Been nursing an injury and was not even sure I would lift today. (I could not even do light work on Wed)
Leg was hurting, but found my "groove" and was able to push through.
9 white lights!.
575 opener
600 2nd
620 third! Yep....and a few experienced guys said I had another 10-15 in me at least.
Trying to get a vid. The guy that took them with my phone had his thumb over the lens! (srs)
Took home 1st place in my weight class and Best lifter overall. Only guy that even came close for Best Overall, was a guy at 138 that pulled 460.
Was a fun great experience,....only regret was not going for 630
[edit]....got some vids...waiting on the final pull vid (my wifes friend took them. She was cheering me on.
