Anybody else find it amazing how much easier Pullups get with every pound lost? I knew it would happen but cot damn. Had pull day today, managed to get 8 sets of 8 wide grip with 45 second rest periods. Motivation through the roof. We all gonna make it.

I've gained like 12kg in the last 2months (yes lots of fat lol) and actually found my pullups are getting easier, I smashed out 15 full wide grips no worries today. I think it's all the calories I've been eating helping build more muscle.
brb 15 pullups at 88kg
brb when I was cut at 76kg could barely manage 8
brb time to cut again lol

First time cutting - What's up with refeeds? How often, how much to increase cals/carbs... etc. Anyone want to give a quick refeed 101?

its pretty simple brah. scc has made heaps better. stick around you will see some chit.
double choc vanilla tim tam
whipped peanut butter
cookies & cream whey
ff chobani
ff cottage cheese.
Yoplait Duet - Apple & Cinnamon yoghurt. (basically tub with 2 sections. one yoghurt. one looks like the contents of a mcdonalds apple pie)
ff chobani
vanilla whey
Apple & Cinnamon ricecake
but im not that creative. others here made some impressive sludges.

Totally agreed with u.. until my mother had gastric bypass. The ammount of food she can eat shouldn't be enough to gain weight. Not to mention the types of food. She can't have candy or anything loaded with sugar those things make her sick. As well as her bf being able to gain back all of the weight eating far less than had previously to get to his weight.
Cortisol levels hormones and such have to play a huge part in that. Metabolism slow down has to occur the body is literally starved to lose weight with that surgery u just don't feel hungry is all.
As well as personality changes. I know you lose weight u generally feel better about urself. Deffinatly in these cases if exreme weight loss. But chemically/hormonaly something has got to be left changed in the brain. 2/2 surgery I watched people drastically change leave their spouses and personallity changes that I have never seen before.
Just my exp with it

Leaving my fate in the SCC once again. I have time for 1 more workout before Disney with my family. I'm due for legs, but tomorrow I'll be walking around the theme park for 8-13 miles and my legs will be jello.. So I'm thinking just doing an upper body instead of legs today?

How often to have them depends on how lean you are. If you aren't very lean to start out with then don't even bother with them at first. As you start to get pretty lean start incorporating them. Maybe at first only once every two weeks, then once a week as you get lower bf%, and if you get really diced then I've heard some people having them twice a week. For me though even when I'm really really cut I find once a week is plenty. And like some one else said fats as low a possible, protein around BW, and lots of carbs but try to keep calories around maintenance. Also try to avoid fructose as fructose has no effect on leptin which is the hormone you're trying to increase that keeps your metabolism and fat burning process going.
