Ahri is just a retarded champion. With DFG it doesn't matter if you miss all of your skillshots, the R+W aoe in combination with DFG will kill anyone..

Lemondogs actually seemed very well prepared and I liked the team comp. Swain seems like a decent pick against Ahri but it didn't quite work out because Swain needs a ton of farm / or kills to be that unstoppable, self-sustaining frontliner. Pretty good effort by LD, they played pretty well for around 15 minutes or so. Scoreboard doesn't reflect the first 15 minutes where LD was going blow for blow with SKT1 and winning by 2k.

The problem is Ahri roams too well and it was extremely evident when that double kill at top happened. SKT1 dominated the vision control too which allows them to get picks and force LD into those bad fights 5v4 because Faker would insta-kill someone from LD.

Also I didn't like that swain pick either because all Faker had to do was shove the lane to swain's turret and then he could go roam.
Malphite is also really useless against ahri.

Yea Malphite wasn't really good. Zoro used to main Irelia last season not sure why he didn't play it this game, would've fit perfectly with the new tri force. Also could've actually killed the vayne instead of a knock up that does 100 damage since they already had Vi for it.

Really nice first 10 mins from LD though.

LD didn't really get rolled over, they were very strong early. 35min loss vs one of the absolute best is by no means an underperformance.

swain doesn't counter ahri. Swain was down in cs the whole game... Malphite got poked down by ahri to less than 50% hp before the fight even started..

I beg to differ, 30% pick, ~37% ban at EUW Diamond, which is arguably ahead of the NA scene.

And I'm already there, just ban her every time I can. Too much roaming potential with so little effort and draw backs.

TSM had a great chance to win that game despite being outplayed and outmanuevered the whole game, but WT decided to go full bronze elo twice. The time where he suicided at tower he literally valk'd over the wall and tried to solo 1v1 a caitlyn which Corki can win but it ended up splitting his team and it got him and xpecial trapped. Granted TSM wasn't going to win that fight though but Turtle went too ham.

Then he valk'd into Kennen after killing Ahri. That fight should've been an easy ace for TSM as long as Turtle played patiently.

Then at that last concluding fight Dyrus didn't have his ulti which would've zoned out OMG from diving Turtle. Dyrus didn't play well at all that game. Only Oddone played well from TSM. Xpecial and Reginald played pretty poorly all things considered. Like at that dragon fight where Ahri cleaned up Dyrus at the end, Xpecial blew his ulti on Zyra when Zyra was already dead.

I have never seen Xpecial miss so many ults and use them so questionably, knowing a dragon fight is coming up and using it on only Zyra? Dyrus didn't even tickle with his equalizer. If Turtle didn't flash valk they probably picked an ace up in that fight chasing through their jungle and then picked up the Baron but when it comes down to it... Regi got stomped.
