I stole this from Joog in the O35. It's too good to not have posted here in the Fem section.
I have 4 sisters, only 3 now. And how I wish we had done this.

Such is life, don't you think? It has its ups and downs, and we womenfolk have our struggles. I like how these photos depict life.
I remember the one with the men! I thought that was great! I am dead jealous that you and your sisters do this every Christmas. Right now, I would be so happy to have pics of the 5 of us from 2003 onwards. That would have been fabulous! As soon as I saw this thread in the O35, I sent the link to my sisters. No drama: You know where we are.

I have siblings and many relatives, as well as similar compilations of photographs. I love the idea behind it. I could show you a few personal collages of mine that I put about 20 mins of work in to compile + paste together that would probably pull more heart strings than these.
Didn't mean to offend. There's simply nothing interesting about these photos.

We take lots of family photographs, and I noticed by chance that we were arranged similarly so I had compiled these two sets of photos:
Me and my cousin dancing. First photo is a from a holiday, second photo 17 years later is my brother's wedding.
Me, my cousin, and my aunt. First photo is at my 5th birthday, second photo 17 years later is us at dinner together. Only difference is that me and my cousin are switched, which I could easily have fixed by flipping the photo.
Sorry the photos are large. Too lazy to resize. Enjoy.

^^^ beautiful pics, flyfreefit...thanks for sharing.
and lisa, this is a neat thread. the story behind those pics is that those sisters seemed to stay together and close all those years. that's the real beauty behind those pics, to me.
thanks for posting.Last edited by whatevergirl; 05-04-2013 at 10:36 AM.

I think this was great. Look how fresh faced they were in the 70's and the clothes!!
You can see the closeness between them and the love. It is an interesting view of human development and how we change as we age.
I agree that sometimes the knocks, the struggles and the pain may end up showing up somewhere in those wrinkles but then again so does the laughter.
Beauty has many definitions..beyone physical. This is a wonderful example of sister love.
