Doesn't it still come out to be a bit cheaper with the powder tho? ( I'd personally rather buy 3 powders instead of 2 pills)... It does get a tiny bit sloppy at times but I deal, I went up 5lbs on seated db press yesterday, I can't fully attribute it to anyone supplement I'm taking, but i gotta believe this certainly helped, I'm glad I'm starting to get my strength I once had back, I sick of All these little high school ****s lifting as much as me or more lol (I'm super competitive, but I'm actually glad to see those kids lifting, it's the same gym I went to in high school, at the time I was the only one Under 20 who went I think...)

Bio-Gro/IGF concerns
With recent studies, it has brought up an old topic that IGF-1 is directly linked to cancer. I'm not talking about the crap studies that came out a week or two ago about protein being "bad" for your health, I'm talking about IGF-1 specifically. There are studies dating back to the 1990s supporting that increased IGF-1 levels were linked to multiple types of cancer including prostate cancer. Since IGF-1 is a highlighted component of Bio-Gro, should we be worried as consumers?

Several studies have found that IGF-1 levels at the high end of the normal range may influence the development of certain tumors. Some early studies found a relationship between blood levels of IGF-1 and the development of prostate, breast, colorectal, and other cancers, but later studies have failed to confirm these reports or have found weaker relationships. While there may be a link between IGF-1 blood levels and cancer, the exact nature of this link remains unclear.

If you are concerned I have to advise that you not take Bio-Gro. True GH, IGF-1 and other hormones accelerate cell growth rate. I don’t know their effect on cancer cells, but I cannot advise using Bio-Gro to someone who has a history with cancerous cells, and especially if their issue has come back. Safe is all relative, but I cant say for certainty that that someone won’t have issues – and worse, if the issues get worse because of something else, he can pin it on Bio-Gro. Like any supplement if you are concerned talk it over with your doctor.

But really guys. How much IGF-1 is being absorbed from this product? Isn't there IGF-1 in beef? Milk?
If you guys at Isatori had to explain why this is better than normal Colostrum, what would that answer be because I really think I saw results but I get laughed at when I saw I got real results. I just heard another org has banned Bio-Gro, which I find ridiculous. Now.... is that sort of a compliment? I don't know. I would tend to say banning Bio-Gro means it works, so grab it. But.... one the other spectrum, they've banned Caffeine in the past. So..... There is supposedly another company coming out with peptide growth factors, can't recall the name but how are all these products different if I may ask? I've heard anywhere from 25x more powerful than Colostrum to it equals 25g of protein. I'd like the science, not the marketing version, if you know what I mean.Last Log : http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=165837041&p=1328019051#post1328019051

Just bought 4 tubs of Bio-Gro for $13 - Won't brag on how I did it, but lets just say I have a buddy at Vitamin shoppe. Mad sale going on and I had store credit. I'm going to finally see if this was the missing element in my comeback workout stack.
Like I said before, I've personally seen people not enjoy Bio-Gro saying..."no gainz" and what-not. But I did see increased strength gains and I had a certain pump all the time. My biceps for example looked huge compared to what they look like now even though I almost lift the same amount of weight. I lost about 6 pounds after my injury.
Once I get back into full force I'm hoping to test out my 2nd batch of Bio-Gro. Long video diary as well I think.Last Log : http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=165837041&p=1328019051#post1328019051

Sorry it has taken me so long to get back to you. You asked for science and there was a study done by several well respected Exercise Physiologist at UCF. You can find a link to the abstract here. http://www.isatori.com/Bio-Gro-P1.aspx

I have been using Bio-Gro for just over a week. So far I noticed my recovery has improved, especially after intense leg day with Squats. I am 40 now and recovery is slow, L-Glutamine did not seem to help with DOMS. With Bio-Gro I have had a significant improvement with DOMS. I haven't noticed any improvement in LBM, however I dropped 2 pounds and 1% body fat without any loss of muscle. Using high end body fat scale as starting point.
I am an ectomorph hard gainer so I am lucky to gain 2 lean pounds /month with 3200 - 3500 calories and and 250 Grams of protein. If after 8 weeks of Bio Gro I can gain more than 4 pounds lean I will be impressed!
I don't believe in guessing and placebo I take regular measurements and body fat tests to see results. I will submit the results as I have a paper record detailing the LBM, Fat and Water measured both from feet and hand resistance on a $5000 scale!
