I can't consider anything I've done over the past while a "cut". More a recomp. Weight has stayed within 2lbs +/- the last 6-7 weeks, but I'm getting new veins popping out and striations are increasing. I've been eating well over 200g carbs a day during that time, so definitely not low carb.
I'm just cracking down now on an actual "cut". I'll pull about 150g carbs a day. I don't consider myself low carb until I'm sub 100.1175 @172

My horse of a dog wakes up every morning I have the kids, walking into the landing at the top of the stairs right next to their bedroom door & shakes like crazy, stretches with a "yawl" then proceeds to scratch at her collar jangling the 2 metal tags my city makes me attach to it.
Then she spins in circles & pants at the baby gate until i open it.
Then she tears down the stairs to wait at the back door.
I got a %50 chance that i'll be able to drink at least one cup of coffee in peace after all that racket.

I was browsing through things I have posted in the past. There is a post I would very much like to delete. Alas, no edit button. :/
Twas quite some time ago. Is there a window of time in which one can edit/delete a post?December 2012 - Peak 258 lbs.
October 2013 - Low 190 lbs.

No word from BK? I wonder if his work schedule is affected:
Not so much lately (I have been using a lever/hammerstrength-like pulldown machine for the most part lately), but in the past I used to do pullups (not chinups) quite frequently. I had a free-standing pullup/dip station in my bedroom and would do them near daily, I was getting close to 30 at BW. But they were assuredly something that would look like the videos people post when making fun of crossfitters and their kipping pullups. Legit BW pullups at the gym, maybe 18-20. But my normal thing would be weighted pullups with wrist-wraps, BW + 45lbs x12 (+ 2 subsequent sets at fewer reps) or BW + 70lbs and like 6,5,4 reps. Pullups for me are such that I can never duplicate the first set unless I do something like 3 reps short of failure on that set, so 2nd and 3rd sets are always fewer reps even with a good dose of rest.
The peak of my period of weighted pullups at the gym coincided with a period of time where my arms felt they were going to fall apart at the elbows, I still occasionally do pullups, I cut short of going to dead-hang anymore, at least when I am using more than BW. The reason I like the particular machine I use now (it's like a hammerstrength machine I guess) vs. pullups or cable pulldowns is the rom and free grip rotation just seems more "friendly".
