I would probably get tired of it really quick. I'm just in a different mode at the gym. The most similar experience I can compare it to is when I lift with my sister (like once a month) when I wanna push her or teach her some new things, but those days are always the days I feel like I need a break or a slight deload.

My wife was one of my workout partners back when we were in college. We both loved it. We held each other accountable to get there at least 4 days a week. Probably one of the best and most reliable partners I ever had! Sadly she stopped training when we had our first kid. It's been about 7 years, and she's back in the gym again! I got her started on the Jamie Eason's Live Fit training program, and she's loving it! She's not ready to go the gym with me, but she's training every day in my basement gym (which is nothing to sneeze at). So I train first thing in the morning at my gym (Anytime), and then around noon I meet her in the basement to get her through her workout! Today she squatted 145 for 8!

Gf been a long time cardio bunny and 2 weeks ago i managed to encourage her to join me on leg day and she enjoyed it! So i decided to spend my whole leg session helping her on squats and now i insist she joins me on all future leg days. Win-win for when she acquires dat dere squatters ass. Still make her spot me on db shoulder press after legs though lol

meh, not enough for me...
im the kinda guy who strives to be as perfect as i can possibly be if im with soome girl. cuz i want her to look at me in every possible aspect and say "****, i cant get any better than that" whether its being thick, tight and joocy or treating her well or whatever.
if i can make her think im the best, how would she be able to cheat on me or breakup with me nomsayin?"When you want to succeed as bad as you wanna breathe, then you'll be successful."- Eric Thomas

A few months ago I went with an ex (was a bf at the time). There is something kind of sexy about lifting together but he started telling me things in opposition of what my trainer instructed me to do. I get my workout routine from my PT. I think he wanted to impress me with his knowledge but I didn't want to change my workout for his ego. What to do when that happens?
And OP, I understand the not fitting in because lifting is not popular among women. But I grew up with 5 brothers so I am used to pushing myself into predominantly-male activities. And I have to deal with the occasional peppering too.

wouldnt mind it but would want to do my own thing for the majority of the workout.
for guys(atleast imo) you kind of just want to zone out and do your own thing for that time
the only reason i even want other guys to workout with is so they can spot me or what not and maybe challenge eachother to do better.
honestly id be happy if the damn gym was 100% empty everytime i went lol

so what your telling me is that you pepper your angus occasionally?
but totally understandable... i like to comment from time to time because i do alot of broscience research, but i hate when a PT tells the girl to train 3x per weak and to 2 sets or some ****... they have to go full on 3 -4 sets 3 or 4 exercises per body part"When you want to succeed as bad as you wanna breathe, then you'll be successful."- Eric Thomas

I used to take my ex-gf and my baby boy when we couldn't get a sitter. I'd train first and then look after baby so she could train.
It only worked cos my son was still not able to walk so we could just sit him in the buggy or take him out and hold/play with him."Harboring unforgiveness is like drinking poison and expecting the other person to die".

My gf and I go to the gym together 4 times+ a week.
I showed her Jamie Eason and she has been doing her workout plans. She actually really likes to lift weights and has great form. She always wanted to lift, but didn't feel comfortable being a girl among a bunch of guys at the dumbell rack. We keep each other accountable.
We lift 4 times a week then will add a kettlebell classes, mashup classes, or even hot yoga.
That feel of having a gf that loves the gym and loves to lift.* OKC THUNDER * ARKANSAS RAZORBACKS * DENVER BRONCOS * DEFTONES * DUBSTEP *
