I think I'm going to bulk to 175, cut to 170, repeat. each time being leaner at 170 than before
what do you guys think? Am i wasting my time by gaining 5 losing 5?

Keep in mind that when just starting a bulk you will gain 5lbs of water weight VERY easily, especially if you up carbs. I'd do something like gain 15-20. (5lbs water, 5lbs fat, 10lbs muscle) then cut down. Should be something like 8weeks bulk-2 weeks cut.
Or just catch a very lean bulk groove and bulk for 30 lbs (5lbs water, 5lbs fat, 20lbs muscle).
BUT, then again, don't listen to me, I'm a skinny fuark teen misc ---->

Anybody in here 6'2"+ tall? If so, at what weight did you begin to actually see yourself put on size? I'm just trying to make a weight goal for myself, but I have no idea what my weight needs to be upwards of to visibly see mass on my frame. We're all different but I was just curious.

Been upping my cals by 150 these last 4 days and I'm looking leaner than before. Is this the power of the wizardry known as reverse dieting?

I'm still cutting but the SCC is going downhill so I'll occasionally post here lol.
But I'm 6'3", didn't even remotely look like I lift til I ended my first bulk at 193. First time I felt sort of "big" was this last bulk. I got up to 215 @ 17% bf about, sort of chubby yea, but around 205 I was like 14-15% and looked pretty good yet."Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "Wow! 6'4 crew here checkin in. I noticed a weight change when I bumped my cals back to maintenance and incorporated more carbs in my diet. I get what your saying though cause I still feel like I'm small as chit so hopefully these gains will pay off in the long run that I'm trying to make now.

Yeah, unfortunately for us tall folks weight change hardly = size lol I inadvertently cut when I began eating healthier and over the years it took some muscle with it. I'm lean, but I have that little bit of low belly/low back fat that I know I can tighten up with a nice lean bulk. Tall ex-fat kid problems.
Yeah, I'm thinking at around 200 I'll start to actually see the gains. I'm going to shoot for 190 lbs for now though for starters. That'll be a good 10 lb. gain from where I'm at now.
And for you cutting folks:
Big ol' salad with avocado and 2 eggs over easy seasoned and topped with some fresh grated parmesan cheese.

Finished my cut yesterday. Right now two days of carbloading at maintenance and back to bulking on saturday a.k.a. my birthday.
"I don't mean perfection as far as a visual image of perfection. I mean, "perfection" to me is, I walk away from a situation and say, "I did everything I could do right there. There was nothing more that I could do." I was a hundred percent, like the meter was at the top. There was nothing else I could have done. You know? Like, I worked as hard as I possibly could have. That's perfection."
