    Pre workout Shakes anyone??

I know that has probably been stated before sorry for asking, but any new(or old) news on when the best time to take a pre workout shake is. 15mins or like an hour? I take mix in milk, protein and carbs. i also take Trac, which has the NO thing, and I know NO2 says not to eat 30 mins before or after taking it(whether it really does what it says, i would like to find out myself) and that is a pre work out drink(30-45mins before). When can I fit these in? Thanks a bunch.

    HUh?

Its not going to make a huge difference. sip it on your way to the gym and sip it during your workout.

then make another shake for post workout and drink it.

Is it ok just to eat a real meal before workout that consists of oatmeal and eggs and a glass of skim milk. that is what i usually have like 45min before workout then right after I have my whey, creatine, and dextrose. I don't see the need in a pre-workout shake if you eat a real meal before hand. or should i just take out the breakfast and make a shake

The protein in "real foods" is slow digesting....Drinking a "whey" shake which is fast digesting would be more benificial. I take 1 serving of ON 100% which takes about 3 minutes to shake and consume....
