Sorry for the ramblings of a drunk man ( its Friday here ).
I just got back from a drink from a BBQ with only our close friends and my brother asked,
"are you afraid to death"...

Honestly, I believe in god but I believe that if religion is real, I'm most probably going to hell.
Most people don't realize that half the **** they do is against their religion.
If the Bible/Quaran/Tanakh are true word for word, I got a tube straight to hell but I honestly have no fear of death. I'm more afraid of how I'm going to die rather than the afterlife itself.

Not afraid to die but the thoughts of knowing my family would be hella sad is heartbreaking. I guess when you're dead you won't have to worry about that but nonetheless it's hard.

i fantasize about dying in an accident. i dont particularly enjoy being alive but have no desire to kill myself. that is to say, im only alive because there are certain people who it would hurt if i wasnt and i dont wish that upon them.

This might give more perspective. I am not religious nor am I an atheist as I can't prove that god doesn't exist, however I truely believe that when we die, we just shut off. There are no souls, no spirits, whatever. I guess this ideology makes it easier to face death but life is just full of mysteries so who knows.

The thought of completely ceasing to exist scares me beyong belief.

In one or two generations, no one will remember you ever even existed, as if you had never existed in the first place.

I wasn't raised with religion so from a non religious persons perspective it's hard to believe that anything actually happens after death. To me the whole concept of an afterlife is to make people feel better and not be so scared about dying but in reality no one has a clue what happens but the idea that nothing happens is the most logical to me.

I honestly hope to god that god exists(irony)!! All this pain and suffering in this world must mean for something. My biggest fear is dying before I can be a great uncle, then a great husband, then a great dad, then a great grandad. And death comes out of no where, before I die I want to make sure my family is set and my future family is set. I don't wanna die leaving a burden on anyone. Stay safe brahs
