    flat footed and squats?

I was doing squats today and I brought a friend along. He said he couldn't squat (even bodyweight squat). I asked him to show me a bodyweight squat and he fell down on his back.

Do flat footed people really have trouble doing squats? Or is my friend just lacking flexibility and motor-engrams? Can he work towards it and if so will it be difficult to achieve proper squat position?

uhh op when you squat you need to have your feet flat, and push up through your heels... so your friend should be able to get lower easier.

i have skater feet, and i have no problem.
