Trying to hit Upper thigh more, How?

Hey guys a two part Q. I do squats (correctly) and am one of those guys that don't really feel it, whether heavy low rep or light high rep and everything in btwn. Presses, leg curls and hacks I do feel but more closer to the knee. How do I smash my upper quads to get em bigger?

someone told me to try squatting on a smith to feel em better which leads to second q
I read to hit quads more stand beneath the bar, like the low position on the sleds of a hack or press, but then I read feet more forward to hit the quads, which? and how to smash my upper quads please help.

    thanks

key to feel that part , is to push through your heels completely. try to shift tension towards your heels. especially try it on leg press, just relax your toes and completely push weight with heels (lift your toes slightly off the platform if you need to). For squats too , if you do high bar squats and pay attention to your center of gravity you may feel more on upper part. i recently discovered this for myself

you are going to feel it more there i think, especially when doing leg press its easy to shift tension to toes due to bad flexibility thats when i feel around knee as well, you are stll hitting your entire quads even if you feel it there

so you think I could flex my ankle back a little on the presses to push completely w my heels and keep toes off the plate as I push them up, bc I see ppl rolling back on their heels on hack squats, bringing their toes completely off the plate as they push to the standing position.

yea , just dont exaggerate it and injure yourself just focus and try to feel your heels. the weight you use may drop. so practice with light weight first
