Day 5- weight=197.8 Have chest and tris and abs today. Food was the exact same as yesterday. I got negged by a bunch of people yesterday for being a "proponent" for this diet and it just makes me laugh! Oh well going to keep on keeping on! Only way to silence the negativity is to prove them wrong... See y'all at weigh in tomorrow morning

Here is my last rant to anyone listening and I won't bring it back up unless I am asked about it directly... I've had some people disagree with my comments and opinions on a PSMF and I get it... It's NOT for everyone... BUT u won't know that until u try it... I'm totally against crash diets if u don't have the willpower to sustain the weight loss after the crash is over with... I have the willpower always have always will... I go back to when I was in high school and I had to get on an acne medicine that my dermatologist told me would kill my joints and I wouldn't be able to lift heavy weights bc I would hurt to bad and I wouldn't be able to make any gains in
Muscle bc I would be to sore but i could possibly maintain my 165 lb frame etc... I was in 10th grade and was fighting for a starting position for DB on my varsity football team... I could have just accepted what the Dr said but I said
To myself **** it!!! I will work harder than everyone and prove the dr wrong...
Long story short I went from 165 to 185 and put on more muscle in 3 mos than I ever had before on a medicine he said I wouldnt even be able to lift on!!! You know why???? Bc he "knew" what a ****ing book told him but not what real world proved... You can neg me all day but real life results beat your theories all day every day... Do I think this diet is the best diet for long term success? NO... But it was NEVER designed for that... It was a way to lose fat quick then sustain then lose more... So is a long term 3-500 cal deficit Better for long term goals of course!!! But if u wana lose 10 lbs in a couple weeks is the PSMF the way to go?? I would say its very affective from MY experience!!! Just like carb cycling works well for people in the contest prep this diet will work also but make sure u do it right and pay attention to the guidelines laid out for u!!! And lift HEAVY as u can!!! End rant... Sorry but it just irks me all these people bashing ONE particular diet when most have never done it!!! End rant

Day 7- weight=197.0 Had my cheat meal last night and it was awesome!!! My food looked like this yesterday- 2 sccops protein powder, 8 oz lean beef, 4 oz beef jerky, 8 oz vodka and sprite zero, 2 soft shell beef tacos, chips and salsa, 2 bud lights. Cant believe my weight didnt go up at all after all that food. Its weird too that after all that food I wake up starving when normally on this diet I take in so few cals and I wake up feeling fine. My workout kinda sucked yesterday, well deadlifts anyways I just wasnt feeling it. My workout looked like this...

Feel very sore still from my chest and tri workout on saturday but I think the diet has something to do with not recovering as fast as if you were on a normal diet. Awesome job so far on the second go around! I ended my first trial with great results, losing 13 lbs in 21 days. I did a re-feed/rest weekend as I was at a wedding and wanted a break. I am starting back up again at 199 lbs, only putting on 3 lbs of water weight over the weekend, which should be gone in the next day or two.
Screw all of the neg posters. The only thing that matters is your own personal goals and not what the internet bullies think. I laugh when they say that after the PSMF diet is over I will just binge eat until I am 300 lbs! It's not like I was a binge eater when I got up to 225lbs. I just ate like crap over years and years and it slowly added up, along with not working out on the reg.
I come here and post for motivation and self accountability, not for green rep power. Anyone that wants to neg me for losing weight and caring about how I look, they only motivate me further!!

Day 9- weight= 196.0(down 7.3 LBS) So I have decided to try a little experiment(might have already been tried)that consists of alternating days of PSMF and IIFYM(will still be in a 5-700 cal deficit daily on IIFYM) and seeing how well that works. There are probably people out there( I know there are bc I have seen so many failed PSMF diets) that cant stick to a PSMF so maybe the combination of the two would make people adhere a little better. So starting tomorrow I will start alternating days and keep a log of how its going. Its going to actually look like this- Monday=1100cals,Tuesday=1800,Wednesday=1100,Thursd ay=1800,Friday=1100,Saturday=1100,Sunday=1800. The reason I am doing it like this is because I want to keep my cals lowest on the days I lift so I can burn the most cals possible while in a huge deficit already. I know this is ass backwards but its how im going to do it. So thats the plan(if my math is correct I should be losing approx 4.2 LBS per week)...Go ahead and neg me now

Good stuff. Like you said, you will be on a calorie def everyday so, while you may not lose weight as fast as if you were consistenly on a PSMF diet, you will still continue to lose. I plan on getting below 190 lbs and then implementing a similar style to you until I am near 180 lbs and maintain that for the summer

What are you at right now? Yea I just kinda like experimenting with stuff right now. I figure now is the time to do it while I still have fat to work with and I know I wouldnt or couldnt stick with a PSMF for more than a few weeks so this seems like it would make the weight come off a little faster then just doing IIFYM.

I only took one before pic which was stupid but I will post some pics next week. I can already see a huge difference and I finally had a coworker ask me yesterday if I was on a diet because I was getting too skinny! I laughed and was like um, I have a long way to go! I think its because I lose weight in my face and neck first
