Now bubbaT I believe you said on the pictures board that you would blow us all away with your pics. Unfortunately when you ask a juvenille question like this it leads me to believe otherwise. And the answer to your question is more than you are doing. That should always be the answer to any kind of question regarding "how much weight should I be lifting." MORE, that goes for anyone!

are you a powerlifter? if not then who cares bro? i can only bench 230 but i still have a built chest and i'm not exactly small either 6'2" 240 12% bodyfat.....form is everything and go slow...feel your muscle working and your chest will show the work you put into it....to many people get caught up on how much they can lift...ironically they are also the people that dont look as good and the ones who dont have an ego...just my advise take it if you want

If you're a BB like someone said who the hell cares it not called BB-as in bench building its called bodybuilding and thats the only thing you should be doing really if you focus on your bench it will take away your concentraition from BB.

u could be 235 lbs 8 % body fat and bench press 200 lbs and as long as you had a solid built chest, it wouldnt matter how much u bench pres, this is called bodybuilding, weights dont matter, its the muscles that matter, if u want to know about bench pressing go to the powerlifting forum

I don't have a big bench at all for some reason. It goes up gradually with my weight, but I'm definitely not strong for my weight. Right now, I'm 160 and that's how much I bench. I think it has alot to do with genetics. I see kids so much skinnier than I, benching 70 lbs. more. I get bigger, but not alot of strength gains.
80% of the time that's the first thing a guy would come up and ask you. I agree, it is overrated
