Got good strength and size gains using it, squat went from 20kg to 110kg in 4 months.

Switched routine though - once you get to heavier weights, the workouts take forever.

Weights get heavier, take more time to set up and rerack, resting times need to get longer.

I liked the frequency because it got more and more tiring as time went on, and I needed the rest days.

Going on a volume-heavy routine like this everyday is stupid. You'll burn out quick.

I think you need to look deeper into the thread and also take these guys advice. Jason spent a **** ton of time on the program and its not meant to be changed. Go the ICF 5x5 thread and go to page 173 scroll down and read the FAQ post #5166
rest days are there for a reason, same with the exercises unless otherwise stated by Jason such as close grip bench press rather than Tricep dips
(I would have linked it but im a newb and <50 posts)

Yeah you need rest. Thats when your muscles recover and well get bigger and stronger. Just follow his routine, eat right, and sleep, and I'm sure you'll be making gains.

I don't know what the routine consists of, but Mr. Blahblahblah isn't particularly stupid, so I'm pretty confident that it'll work.

You don't need anymore than the given 3 days. The volume will be too much if you add in anymore days/exercises.
If you want to spend more time in the gym, look at another routine. Things such as Lyle McDonalds generic bulking routine are four day routines. PPL are 3 day splits so by the sounds of it you wouldnt enjoy those either

I spent anywhere from 1:30 to 2:10 in the gym on this routine. It practically kills you on the main lifts on A. I literally had to sit on the floor after deadlifting.
