    Contemplating on what kind of bike I should get, road or mountain bike. Any suggestions?

    There are lots of factors, give some more information and I can give you my opinion.

    Geography where you live/ride
    What you want to get out of it (fitness, adrenaline, fun, etc.)?
    What is more appealing to you; Going out for a 65+ mile road ride or doing 15-30 miles off-road?
    Budget
