    when are you "done" with Starting Strength? (reps)

    when can you say if you are "done" with Starting Strength? My priority is not to get really strong with lifts over 300 or something like that. My goal is just to get a solid strength base so as to move on to a P/P/L or Upper/Lower. Advice, guys?

    P.S. main goal is aesthetics

    When you get to a point where you feel progress is being stalled, first check to see that you are getting enough calories in.

    If you are, and progress has stalled. Switch to another program.

    I believe Rippetoe recommends to continue until you've stalled and deloaded squat 2-3 times, or something along those lines.
