    To bulk or cut? Pics inside

    5'8
    175lbs
    Guessing around 18% bf?

    Unsure whether to cut now or later, fed up of feeling like a fat kunt but loving the gains too much

    Pic is from my progress folder, for those interested its September 2011 to April 2013 but diet was nonexistent till like October 2012 lol so hard to gauge

    If you bulk now, the excess fat you get will make your cut afterwards a long and annoying process. If you cut now, don't expect an amazing thick muscular body. I was pretty much in the same situation as you last year so i decided to cut down first, lose my fat, and then bulk slowly with the least amount of fat gain. It kept me motivated and with high self-esteem all year long. Hope this helps

    Exactly what im doing mate, the lower you get your bf the easier you can bulk without looking to (for lack of a better word) Fat. So id say try hit 10-12 (it will be hard work but it will all come together when you clean bulk)

    you should cut
    you'll b happier with ur physique and you'll see the gains of ur bulk better which will make you motivated.

    Thanks for the replies lads

    The whole cut and clean bulk idea makes perfect sense, ill probably run 2 weeks around maintenance then do a 500 deficit until I'm around 12%

    Should I try to just maintain my lifts or try to increase them too?

    If your body signals you to increase weight bc the ones you are using are getting too light then go straight ahead! If not then keep em the same way. Do NOT by any means decrease your weights unless again if your body is telling you they are getting too heavy. Cheers.
